  1. I’ll be there. Glad to see that the August WP meetup went smoothly. :)

Anyone going to give a quick 5 minute presentation? Here are the ideas from June.

    – How to develop a theme: A-Z, learning all the files (based on ThemeShaper tutorial)
    – Writing with WordPress: Britt
    – Plugin development basics
    – Common tasks and how to solve them: calendars and events, migration of old sites to the latest WordPress version
    – Commercialization of WP (plugins, developers, bloggers…)
    – Top 10 things you should know about WordPress
    – Compare photo gallery themes/plugins
    – Search Engine Optimization
    – Best practices in development and design
    – BuddyPress review of capabilities

  2. I’m looking forward to this meetup and will be doing a quick presentation on “Solving common tasks”. I’ll probably focus on Calendar & Events.
