8:00 pmto10:00 pm

Lex Vilanova will be doing a presentation/workshop covering the content management system Joomla.

Location: 115 East Broadway Blvd., Tucson, AZ 85701

Time: Arrive anytime after 7pm. Presentation starts at 8pm.

What will be covered:

  • Brief Overview of the Joomla-Framework
  • Using the Modules-Components-Menus
  • Deconstruction of the Joomla Template (un-vailing of sfUnique’s “elasti-smart-skeleton” template. This template is a collaboration/hybrid of many ideas and techniques from myself and some talented individuals in the Joomla community. I really couldn’t come up with a better name, but it is elastic and flexible).
  • And to wrap it up we’ll discuss some popular extension

A quick not to say thanks for the Joomla presentation, it was very informative.

I’ve noticed several sites are using Plone (http://plone.org/), including the Association for Computing Machinery (http://www.acm.org/).

Would someone be willing to do a workshop on this CMS?

    Thanks!
